Totally agree, training, entertaining and traveling differentiate sales job from the mundane office job where one do the same boring thing over and over.
Entertaining also provides opportunities for sales person to widen their network and is a positive thing for people with out-going personalities.

I really like and enjoy entertaining customers as it actually gives me an opportunity to build a stronger relationship with loyal customers. Travelling also gives me the chance to see many new places which i have never been to before! HOW ENJOYABLE! ! ! :D

The 3 selling activities that we would like most to perform are :

1. Training and Recruiting - When training new salespeople, one may learn new and useful tips which is beneficial to he/she too! It also helps one to always set a good example for the new trainees.

2. Entertaining-

Unlike the other activities, entertaining clients is fun and not as mundane as activities which are required to be done in the office. For example, making sales presentations and setting up displays. There is communication between clients and this may strengthen customer relationship ties and lead to customer loyalty.

3. Traveling

Although tiring, traveling opens ones eyes to the world and a new environment would sometimes help one's brain juices to flow.

As a team, the 3 selling activities that we would LEAST like to perform are:

1. Working with others - Sales activities associated with this factor include finding lost orders and handling shipping problems. This may be quite time consuming and it isn't easy to search for lost orders.

2. Servicing the Product - Performing maintenance, supervising installations and repairs requires a lot of effort and time from a salesperson. It is also very administrative.

3. Servicing the account - Although for the client, taking inventory is again time consuming and mundane.
